Hi, I’m Montana, owner of Baldwin Landscape Design, LLC in Durham, North Carolina. Originally from Chicago, I found my home in Durham and earned a Bachelor’s in Horticultural Science with a concentration in Landscape Design, Gardens, and Urban Environments from and currently pursuing a Master of Landscape Architecture at North Carolina State University.

 

Using my horticultural background, I create thoughtful, site-specific landscape designs that are aesthetic and functional while supporting pollinators and wildlife. Understanding the 'right plants' for the 'right place' is what makes all the difference in a low maintenance, high performing, and successful landscape.

 

Through Baldwin Landscape Design, I provide design-only services, working directly with homeowners and in collaboration with contractors. The plans are yours to keep. You can install them yourself or bid them out to a contractor of your choice. My goal is to help you achieve the landscape of your dreams, one that is beautiful, sustainable, and uniquely yours.​
